The top of the home range
The 861 is the most powerful and brightest of the smart openers we fit — enough lift for doors up to 500 lbs, with an 800N motor and bright, energy-efficient LED lighting. It is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connected wall station out of the box, which means fewer service calls: firmware updates itself over the cloud, and pairing is simplified from the start.
Power outage
A battery that is already installed
The integrated battery is compliant with California's SB-969 backup-power rule and keeps the door working for up to three days or 77 cycles after an outage, depending on use — pre-wired, so it does not add installation time. BuildReady mode lets us set limits, force and transmitters before the home even has power, so it can be fully configured ahead of the walk-through.
Chain or belt, and an easy manual release
We can run it as a chain or belt drive depending on the door and the noise the household wants, and a quick-disconnect trolley lets anyone release it and open the door by hand if the power is out and the battery is spent. It pairs with the Nice G.O. app for real-time status, scheduling and permissions.
