Built as a platform, not a single part
MCX is the current standard in Nice commercial door automation, built on a modular platform rather than as one fixed unit. A 1/2 or 1 HP continuous-duty industrial 90V DC motor drives it, and the operator sprocket and roller chain come included. One SKU covers 120–240V, with an optional 460/575V transformer kit for higher-voltage sites, so there is no separate high-voltage part number to stock.

Programmed at the unit, run from your phone
Setup happens at the MCX Control Station on the unit itself — open and close speed, timers and limits, in a NEMA 4-rated enclosure with a high-resolution screen. Day to day, the Nice G.O. app hands you real-time monitoring, custom access permissions and scheduled operation from any mobile device.

A retrofit mounting plate is available for replacing an operator on a door that is already hung, which is a different job from fitting one new, and MCX is built for both. An optional electromechanical brake kit locks the door when the motor is unpowered, which matters on a loading dock more than almost anywhere else.
